Kia Rongo Mai nā Horomona Horo

Motivated by a reflective journey through states of meditation, ‘Kia Rongo Mai’ by Taonga puoro artist Horomona Horo, is a call to mindfulness, an invitation to contemplate simplicity, chaos, and the intrinsic power of listening to one's inner voice, a moment to attune our senses to the subtle symphony of life.

Puoro Ki Te Ao

Harnessing the ancient healing sounds of taonga puoro and the essence of nature, ‘Puoro Ki Te Ao’ (Music To The World) features original soundscapes composed and performed by renowned taonga puoro artists Horomona Horo, Komako Silver and Reti Hedley. Creating a calming atmosphere of peacefulness, meditation, intentions and sleep, these pieces were formed with tamariki children and rangatahi young people in mind.

SOUNZ kindly acknowledges the support of Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage for funding this series.
