The Boilermakers crushed Southern Illinois 34-17, roaring to 2-0 for their best start since 2021, and making Coach Odom the first Purdue coach since 1916 to win his first two games. Mockobee ran wild with 126 yards and 2 TDs, Browne threw for 170 yards and 2 TDs, and the defense locked down after the first quarter. Next up: a historic clash with USC!
