Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping attended a state dinner, capping off two days of talks where they vowed more collaboration in oil production which gives the Chinese government an opportunity to further prop up Russia’s sanctioned, suffering economy. Plus, Republican officials are rushing to defend Donald Trump as the former president faces a possible indictment.
