REVIVE 2025 | "Embrace EDI or Just Preach the Word? The Gospel and Diversity" Ezra Campbell & Tom Dowding
Description
This is the Co-Mission summer series covering the talks and seminars from REVIVE, our annual festival. This one is from Ezra Campbell and Tom Dowding from the Bridge Battersea. Is EDI going to save the day? Or should we just preach the word and ignore all that woke nonsense? Or … maybe the gospel can inform us. Join us as we explore how Jesus and his saving message should shape us individually, and our churches, into beautifully diverse communities.
Ezra has been a Christian for just under 30 years. He lives on an estate in Battersea with his wife, Funmi, and their son, and serves as the Rise pastor of The Bridge Battersea. He is passionate about reaching the least reached with the gospel.
Tom is married to Sarah, and is dad to Abbie and Jack. He is pastor at the Bridge Battersea and involved in the revitalisation at Shaftesbury Christian Centre.
Co-Mission exists to plant churches to reach London for Christ.
We're passionate about church planting in London because we are convinced it's one of the most effective ways to reach new areas of the city, bringing the gospel to people from every nation, tribe, and tongue in those areas.
