RSMS Hour 1 | Threats Force Many HBCUs to Lockdown
Update: 2025-09-12
Description
The RSMS crew digs into a string of terroristic threats that forced lockdowns and class cancellations at multiple historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) across the U.S. Institutions such as Alabama State, Hampton, Virginia State, Southern, Bethune-Cookman, Spelman, Clark Atlanta, and Morehouse were affected. Although no credible threat has been confirmed, the timing—shortly after Charlie Kirk’s shooting—has many students and administrators on edge, with heightened security in place.
