We sit down with Raafat Atasi of Amsterdam, Netherlands based technical/melodic blackened death metal band Paindemonium and thrash death act Anomic. We discuss Paindemonium's upcoming album, their new singles and working with Ripper Owens on Conflation. We also discuss the band's origins in Egypt, the Dutch music scene, upcoming work from Anomic and why Raafat believes its easier to do both vocals and drums over vocals and guitar.
