I sit down with radio host, battlerapper and all-round creative force, Brain Peeples AKA Okwerdz 209, to talk battle rap, interviewing celebrities on his podcast Outside The Box, writing for TV, twitch streaming and everything in-between! Okwerdz has been working in the entertainment industry for over a decade, he is not only one of the most recognisable faces in golden age battlerap, but he has since gone on to work in both TV and radio. Alongside a highly respected independent rap career, Okwerdz also now host his own podcast 'outside The Box' interviewing huge celebrity guests from Nate Diaz and Bas Rutten to Ernie Reyes Jr and Tom Arnold. I was lucky enough to be able to grab him for a short time during global lockdown and get stuck into some real good conversation about his amazing career and much more.
