The Las Vegas Raiders have activated Aidan O’Connell from the injured reserve list, carrying three quarterbacks on their active roster. O’Connell, a fourth-round draft pick from 2023, will join Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett, who was acquired from the Cleveland Browns. To make room, the team waived safety Chris Smith. O’Connell, sidelined since breaking his wrist in August, has been practicing for three weeks and may challenge Pickett for the backup quarterback position.
