Description

It’s Father’s Day!
We pay tribute to the late veteran rapper B-Elect all day today; playing his songs, his mixes, his productions, his features, his remixes & his works.
He passed away in the morning of last week Saturday, June 8th 2019 due to cardiac arrest.
We detail how we met in 1996, at his university in Nsukka. How we got introduced by my friend & brother Ike “MC Poach” Egwuonwu (‘Da Lynch Squad’ leader) right after my (my crew “Definition of Hiphop” C.J. “Kyddx” Akpa, Uchenna 'Da Bliqstarr' Akpa, Chinedu “SmoothB” Akpa, Nnamdi “Def C” Akpa & I) performance at “The Penthouse” room 411, Mbanefo Hall. Although, the following year, Bliq & I later became “Tha Bomb Squad” with Nnamdi Schwarz.
How we reconnected in Lagos. How we have had talks about the Hiphop Kulture in Nigeria & what we planned to do for its unification. Talks about a radio show on FM, one with me, him, Smith Ukpong Smith, Funke Martin-Luther (who from earlier this year we had a series of phone conversations about some of the plans) & another unnamed lady.
And much more.
