Ravens' Offensive Line: Running Game Strong, Pass Protection Struggles
Update: 2025-11-21
Description
The Baltimore Ravens offensive line, despite returning four of five starters, has faced unexpected challenges this season, particularly in pass protection. While theyve found success in the running game, consistently gaining over one hundred and fifty rushing yards in their last five games, theyve struggled to protect quarterback Lamar Jackson, leading to a high number of sacks. Two-time Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum acknowledged the need for improvement, especially in pass protection. Head coach John Harbaugh, however, believes the unit is playing well and has the potential to improve. The Ravens will face the New York Jets, a team with a struggling run defense, presenting an opportunity for the offensive line to continue building on their recent success in the running game and hopefully improve their pass protection.
