Noynoy Aquino was in charge for six years, from 2010 to 2016. And let me tell you, the Philippine economy was on the up and up during that time. But he also had to deal with some accusations of elitism, being all high and mighty. His administration also dropped the ball by making people feel left out, like they weren't part of the "cool kids' club." It created this whole exclusive vibe that was just not okay with the majority of the Filipinos.

This lack of transparency gave critics a voice: some people think Noynoy did a good job in trying to modernize the economy and fight corruption, but others say he could've done more.
