Description
After the historic term of Corazon Aquino, Fidel V. Ramos served as president of the Philippines from 1992 to 1997 and played a crucial role in the revolution that overthrew the Marcos regime. Once considered a cruel Marcos supporter, Ramos was hailed as a national hero and ushered in a period of economic prosperity after he abandoned the dictator.
There are, however, unanswered questions, such as whether or not it is true that Ramos was involved in the horrific tortures that occurred under Martial Law. Could he ever make amends for his wrongdoings?
