Description

I'm excited to be able to announce that Red Lens Podcast is not a one-hit wonder -- the second episode is out!

You can listen on Spotify and Anchor (more platforms coming).

In  the second episode of Red Lens, I interview Luis Sifuentes. Luis is a Los Angeles-based photographer. We talk about his political movement photography, street photography & concert photography.

You can follow Luis's photography on Instagram @proleroid.

He also tells us about the organizing he's part of and that he documents in Boyle Heights / East L.A. with Centro CSO.

Luis referred to photos by Raul Ruiz of the Chicano Moratorium & other Chicano movement history. You can read more about Raul Ruiz's photography here.

In the segment where I talk about some new movement photography things of interest, I talk about David Bacon's new book of photography from and about the border wall, More than a wall / Mas que un muro. The book is available here and David Bacon's website is here.

I also mention KingDemetrius Pendleton's recent exhibit with photos from the uprising and movement against police brutality, The Movement Never Stops. KingDemetrius's website, Listen Media, is here.
