Story Transcript:
Cy: Mae gwlith y bore yn bwrw ar ddail lliw rust wrth i'r wawr godi dros Barc Cenedlaethol Eryri.
En: The morning dew falls on rust-colored leaves as the dawn rises over Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri.
Cy: Mae'r awyr yn oer, yn crisial, gyda mwg yn codi'n araf o'r dyffryn islaw.
En: The air is cold, crystal-clear, with smoke slowly rising from the valley below.
Cy: Ar hyd llwybr serth yn byw Rhiannon a Dafydd, dau frawd a chwaer sy'n mentro ar eu teithiau eu hunain, am y tro cyntaf ar y cyd ers blynyddoedd.
En: Along a steep path, Rhiannon and Dafydd live, a brother and sister who are venturing on their journeys together for the first time in years.
Cy: Dafydd, gyda'i feddyliau'n bryderus, yn amharod i wynebu'r cof o ddyddiau heb eu hateb â'i dad.
En: Dafydd, with anxious thoughts, is unwilling to face the memory of unanswered days with his father.
Cy: Yn y tymor diweddaf, ychydig cyn y gaeaf, roedd wedi addo gwneud amser i ymweld, ond byth cyrraedd.
En: In the last season, just before winter, he had promised to make time to visit but never arrived.
Cy: Ac nawr, mewn cwmwl o edifeirwch, roedd yn dal yr ochr dde tîn asgwrn ei dad, cynnwys prafus potel arbennig.
En: Now, in a cloud of remorse, he held his father's right side, the abrasive contents of a special bottle.
Cy: Rhiannon, gyda blewyn gwyntog yn anghofrestrol, yn symudig fel daullau, yn gorwedd nerthol wrth ymyl, yn orlawn o deimladau cymysg, yn dryslyd a llond o ddychrynllyd o agwedd Dafydd a'i ymadawiad o'r cartref.
En: Rhiannon, with wind-swept hair, restless, as swift as a kite, lay powerfully by the side, full of mixed emotions, confused, and frightened by Dafydd's attitude and his departure from home.
Cy: Roedd hi eisiau gweld acenion bulbenaidd y mynyddi - uchelfannau llethrau a llifo dŵr heb sŵn athreuliol pobl - y mynyddi ble roedd eu tad yn caru bod.
En: She wanted to see the bulbous accents of the mountains – high slopes and flowing water without the erosive noise of people – the mountains her father loved to be in.
Cy: Wrth iddynt gyflymu'u camau, ni fedrent osgoi cynnwrf emosiynol a chynnwrf y teithio.
En: As they quickened their steps, they could not avoid the emotional turmoil and excitement of the journey.
Cy: Heb i ni sylweddoli, roedd y cymylau wedi casglu eu trwch a hanner nos yn rholio drwy'r awel, gan wneud i'r gwynt ysgafn wylo'n swnllyd eu clustiau.
En: Without realizing it, the clouds had thickened, and midnight rolled through the breeze, making the light wind wail loudly in their ears.
Cy: Pan gyrhaeddodd y brig, roedd rhaid iddyn nhw ddod i stop, gan mai yn eu cefnau y bêrthod.
En: When they reached the peak, they had to stop, for on their backs they bore the burden.
Cy: "Beth sy'n iawn gennyt ti?
En: "What's wrong with you?"
Cy: " holodd Rhiannon, ei llais yn golchi fel dŵr o fiord.
En: asked Rhiannon, her voice washing like water from a fjord.
Cy: "Paho na ddaetais ti'n ôl cyn hyn?
En: "Why didn't you come back before now?"
Cy: "Syllodd Dafydd yng ngolwg ei chwaer.
En: Dafydd gazed into his sister's eyes.
Cy: "Roeddwn yn ofni wynebu Dad.
En: "I was afraid to face Dad.
Cy: Roeddwn yn ofni," atebodd yn chwithig.
En: I was afraid," he answered awkwardly.
Cy: Mast ond dynodiad yr awyr oedd yn dyled o'u tebyg y dyddiau hynny, ffrwydrodd yr hwyliau ac roedd rhaid iddyn nhw guddio dan leici llechen bach, eu dwylo'n dynn o amgylch eu cefnau.
En: The sky alone led their similar days, their moods burst, and they had to hide under a small slate ledge, their hands tightly wrapped around their backs.
Cy: "Efallai bod amser i faddau," syllodd Rhiannon digon poenus, ond yn taeniad o deimlad.
En: "Maybe there's time to forgive," Rhiannon noted painfully enough, but with a touch of feeling.
Cy: "Ni chawsom ni'r cyfle i ddweud hwyl fawr.
En: "We didn't get the chance to say goodbye.
Cy: Ond gallwn wneud hynny erbyn hyn.
En: But we can do that now."
Cy: "Gydag un llygad yn y golwg ar y mor rhewlifog, begynnodd Dafydd weiddi, "Dyna beth mae bywyd yn golygu, Rhiannon.
En: With one eye on the icy sea, Dafydd began to shout, "That's what life means, Rhiannon.
Cy: Peidio oedi byth.
En: Never delay.
Cy: Gweithred fan hyn.
En: Act here."
Cy: "Wrth iddynt edrych dorfol o'u blaenau, gwelwyd gollyngiad.
En: As they looked intently ahead, they saw a revelation.
Cy: Wrth daflu'r pridd yn rhydd i awyr, yn lonydd disgynnol, roedd pob mwg o lwch yn dan.
En: As they threw the earth freely into the air, in a descending silence, every dust cloud was blazing.
Cy: "Mae'n galonogol i wybod ein bod yn rhannu hyn," meddai Dafydd.
En: "It's heartening to know we share this," said Dafydd.
Cy: Mewnlifiad o ffeindgarwch hardd.
En: An influx of beautiful kindness.
Cy: Yn eu calonnau, adnewyddiant betrybwriaeth mewn taith at garu a chysuro dwyfol.
En: In their hearts, there was a renewal of determination in a journey to love and divine comfort.
Cy: Amser i faddeu.
En: Time to forgive.
Cy: Er gwaeth eu hanes, dechreuodd Rhiannon a Dafydd nesáu at ei gilydd, arfer o'r gorffennol, gan ddod atynt â'r hafan newydd a oedd o flaen y llwybrau.
En: Despite their history, Rhiannon and Dafydd started to draw closer to each other, a habit of the past, bringing about a new haven before the paths.
Cy: Roedd diwedd eu taith yn dymuno bod â chyfiawnder, ffrindiau uchaf yw teulu.
En: The end of their journey wished to have justice, as family are the highest of friends.
