Sometimes the only way to win the podcast is not to play the podcast. Not in this case however! It’s a digitally fun time with Jason Dedrick, Eric Fell and Vicky Van talking about 1983’s War Games.

While they talk about their memories of the film, the team enjoy some Warheads sour candy and a drink made for a War Games drinking game. Jason explains the rules and the drink is…

  • A vanilla shake made with milk and ice cream

  • Leave the shake in the blender and add:

  • One handful of Whoppers malt candy

  • One ounce per person of Amaretto

  • And one ounce per person of Bourbon

  • Blend well!

And as always a tribute drink was created. Is it checkmate or the end of the world? The name is…

The Dabney Cold One

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"></figure>

How do you make it?

  • Take a Rainier beer

  • Drink it

  • Have some gum

The producers wife said, “It’s American beer and I don’t like it. Like sex in a canoe, it’s f___ing close to water.” She did like the gum.
