When he descended on Las Vegas to face Floyd Mayweather, it was as if half of the UK had followed him... His best night? Shocking the great Kostya Tszyu, 20 years ago, in front of a sold out Manchester Arena - Hatton stepped out of the shadows and we fell in love with him.

In retirement he was open about struggles with his own mental health, helping countless people by being brave enough, outside the ring, to talk about it.
