Repentance, or Tawbah, is one of the most beloved acts to Allah. In the Quran, Allah says, "Indeed, Allah loves those who repent and loves those who purify themselves" Quran 2:22 2. This verse highlights the significance of repentance in our relationship with our Creator. It is a means of returning to Him, acknowledging our shortcomings, and seeking His forgiveness.
