Description

Deborah and Mary Grace discuss E.L. Konigsburg's first novel, Jennifer, Hecate, Macbeth, William McKinley, and Me, Elizabeth, about two friends who study witchcraft. One of the few novels of the 1960s to feature an African-American character, it was a Newbery Honor Book the same year that Konigsburg's second novel, From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, won the Newbery.
