Resiliency in Extraordinary Times
Description
Our experiences shape who we are, and we are constantly having new experiences that change us in some way. Often in a positive way, but sometimes our experiences are negative. Negative experiences are an inevitable, inescapable part of life. As difficult as they may be, these experiences help us grow, learn, and become stronger. However, we sometimes stop allowing ourselves to be shaped by our experiences, instead adopting a rigid resistance to change and new experiences. The biggest thing we can learn and practice right now is the ability to go with the flow. We can’t change what’s going on in the world today, but what we can change are our reactions to the current unusual circumstances that are affecting literally everyone on this planet. Extraordinary times call for resiliency, not rigidity.
