Review of "White Bird": A Marvelous Cinematic Universe
Description
In contrast to Palacio's previous work Wonder, which followed a kid as he learned to accept himself in the face of bullying, White Bird discovers the value of showing compassion to others on Soap2Day Movies Free. This time, the scene is 1942 German-occupied Alsace, where Sara, a Jewish adolescent, has to flee her town after a Nazi raid. An unexpected friendship develops between Sara and her friend Julian when he offers Sara a place to stay in his family's barn throughout the months-long ordeal. Forster adeptly transforms this intricate tale into a moving film. The film is anchored by the performances of newcomers Ariella Glaser and Orlando Schwerdt, who eloquently capture Sara and Julian's worries as well as the subtle hints of hope. In smaller roles, veterans like Gillian Anderson and Helen Mirren also provide strength.
