Nick Reiner, son of renowned actor and director Rob Reiner, made his first court appearance this week, charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his parents and their friend. The thirty-two-year-old appeared in court from behind a glass wall, wearing shackles and a jail suicide prevention smock. His arraignment was postponed until January seventh. The couple was found dead from apparent stab wounds in their Brentwood home, and Nick Reiner was apprehended in Santa Monica. He is currently being held without bail, with the district attorneys office yet to decide on the death penalty.
