James Hollins, a rocket scientist and first Black American to lead a nuclear test, moved to Las Vegas in 1981 and became a devoted Raiders fan in 2020. He believes the Raiders have significantly impacted Las Vegas, especially with Allegiant Stadium. James, a former Louisiana Tech civil engineering graduate, followed his brother to the university and later broke color barriers in his career. He now enjoys being a season ticket holder for the Raiders and Las Vegas Aces, sharing his passion with his family.
