Geta Barbu was abandoned as a baby in Romania and was taken care of in secret for two years before being placed in an orphanage. At three years old, she was adopted and moved to the United States. The malnutrition of her early childhood left its mark and Geta was eventually diagnosed with liver dysfunction. Frustrated with the medical industry's approach, she took her health into her own hands and pursued education in neurological and gut development, as well as holistic healing. Geta's experiences in her early life have shaped her into the wellness advocate she is today.
