Sipping on a new twist on an island cocktail, we go back to Victorian era Hawaii. Bekah recounts the life and times of Queen Liliuokalani while Shelley describes the last days of Jane Stanford.
Drinking: The Royal Hawaiian
1.5 oz. Empress 1908 Gin
1 oz. pineapple juice
.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
.5 oz. orgeat syrup
Pineapple slice
Shake all ingredients except gin with ice. Strain into collins glass with crushed ice. Layer gin on top. Garnish with pineapple slice.
