Clothing is a topic most preppers overlook. After all, American’s already own more clothes than we need. That base is covered, right?

Let’s see:

• Will we be able to take all our clothes with us in a bug out trip?
• What if your group takes in refugees with just the clothes on their back?
• Do do you have a full set of camo for patrolling or hunting?
• How will you repair clothing that rips?
• How long will SHTF last? How long till you can resupply?

Clothing is one of those things that is incredibly cheap to buy thanks to technology and inexpensive, off-shore labour. But what happens if something disrupts the supply chain, and we can no longer count on cheap, imported textiles?

Will you be able to produce your own clothing? Is it even worth trying to, or should you just stock up on cheap clothing while you can? What about for kids that are constantly growing?
