Barbing—“a situation in which two people are actively using the Logos together in dialogue”
Pirsig’s Knife—“a method of decisive subdivision that provides more than one option of analysis”
Pirsig’s Train—“a metaphor for dynamic knowledge”
Being on the Front of Pirsig’s Train—“a condition resulting from optimizing the growth of dynamic knowledge (usually characterized by hesitant speech patterns and an inability to speak articulately and decisively)”
Free-standing Claim—“a claim whose truth value can be affirmed or denied by anyone, regardless of the context in which it is made”
