So fu###ng upsetting! This is how the police run people where I'm from. Independent of race, if your poor.

He should set himself up with his own body cam, and put cameras in his car to show the harrassment.

Whether or this man is a criminal and whether or not they glassed over his criminal al history. The fact remains is that the police here have treated at least 2 individuals as if they don't have basic human rights. Hell, the ASPCA gets upset when we treat animals like this.

From the UK... I cannot believe that this happens. This would not happen in the UK. This episode is horrifying. And the UK justice system, that gets a lot of stick, is light years ahead to that of Cleveland's and it is fair and balanced. It isn't racist and it isn't run by people in power - it's run to the letter of the law. Arghhh this makes me angry and sad!

I don't get the charge of racism as the cause of the misbehavior of East Cleveland's police department. A black EC cop beats up a Black EC citizen and it is because of racism? Why?

this is the first blatantly dishonest episode of the podcast as far as I can tell. absolutely no rebuttal is presented in the argument for general law and order and the questions aren't very critical. they're softballs driving the "plot twist" at the end of the narrative. what sucks is, the cops probably are corrupt and targeting community members for retaliation. however, if we don't come by that revelation honestly, then it puts the whole podcast under scrutiny. please do not continue to lead the audience by the nose. it's insulting.

I don't think this is much of a one off, there is police corruption everywhere. I've personally lived it, and had an entire precent line up against a wall during a hearing. judge told me I needed to sue the police outside of the county because he was afraid
