The ignorant comments on this entire series are laughable, as in, I have to laugh because the alternative sucks. I’d like to see some of these idiots get by in life under the circumstances some of the podcast subjects have had to endure.

Can't wait till day a hoodlum tragically hurts Sarah or a family member...let's see how liberal, ignorant, and forgiving she really is. let's see how crooked the CJS is for her...can't wait.

Sarah is a cunt...see how a criminal easily manipulated her into having her work for him while in prison? yea, she could be trying to visit him and sneak in contraband and suck his dick next...biased ass wannabe "journalist ". GTFOOH

I laughed out loud at the county prosecutor's assertion that we have the best criminal justice system. Spoken like someone who knows very little about the world and has no interest in thinking outside of his little box. Keep twiddling your thumbs while the country burns, man. Must be nice in LA-la land. 🙄

Thank you thank you thank you. I am a white female. I have been subject to the bully shittery of the Justice system for almost 10 years. I am not from clevland. I think this is a nation wide problem that definitely needs delt with. I love the ending of this season, Sarah pionts to everyone involved, and says we all are responsible to do something about it.

I live 40 miles east of Cleveland and hearing all of this has been truly heartbreaking and completely disgusting. I can't believe how terrible the crimes are that go unreported and how crooked most of our cops and judicial system have become. so very sad, all around

As a British white guy living in the UK I'm a bit shocked as how unfair the system seems to be in Cleveland, it seems the system unfairly penalises the poor with these multiple misdemeanors.

Ouch. This one really hurts to listen to. Ugh. S/O to Sarah for giving us this experience. I can only imagine how hard it must have been.

How interesting the very stark differences between the comments made by white people and comments made by black people on these episodes. What a PRIVILEGE it must be for these white folks to sit on their high horses and not have to empathize cause none of this effects them.

there is one absolute sure way to not have to deal with all this - don't break the law!!! They always start with "he didn't really do anything" only to follow up with a list of actions the vast majority of us would never even consider doing. It really is as simple as follow the law.

unfortunately, our criminal justice system preys on people like Joshua because they are easy targets that don't have the resources to challenge it.

Joshua had no business joining a gang and committing armed robberies at age 16. There's no getting around that. He dug his own grave in that regard. Having said that, he got fu**ed by the Feds. Once he gave the Feds intel on the Heartless Felons, he should have been placed in a juvenile facility far away from Cleveland where he could have quietly done his time and moved on with his life. The Feds fu**ed Joshua. No question about it.
