Fr. Eric reflects upon the Parable of the Persistent Widow (Lk 18:1-8) in speaking about how we are invited to pray specifically to God to strengthen our faith in the midst of our personal trials. This is a homily that Fr. Eric gave at the 5:30 pm Mass on Oct. 18, 2025 at St. James in Colgan, Ontario.
As a key example, Fr. Eric refers to a moment of discernment with regards to his mother's declining health.
