At Stuart Design Co, we start all projects, commercial and residential with a space plan, or furniture layout. We don't select the actual pieces, but we insert furniture first for the following reasons;
- Walking Patterns; Understand Traffic Flow
- Doors; How are the doors functioning; are they banging into each other, etc?
- Windows; Does window placement support how you're going to use each space; too high, too low, etc.?
- Electrical; Opportunities for floor outlets, etc.
