Ahhh yes, fan fiction: where fans with (or without) writing talent come together to create stories about their favorite (or not so favorite) characters from their most cherished fandoms. It's also the butt of many nerd jokes....but MORE importantly, it is a misunderstood and often under-appreciated faction of fandoms all around the world. In this episode we discuss how WE got started reading fan fiction, why we decided to write some stories of our own, and what we wished the world knew about those who write fan fiction. We also discuss our favorite stories out there and what fandoms they are from (spoiler: they're not all Star Wars!)
