We have the pleasure of interviewing Anna Brightman, the Co-Founder of sustainable beauty brand UpCircle. UpCircle reuse and repurpose materials from other industries to give them a new life in each of their beauty products. Starting out by collecting used coffee grinds from coffee shops in London, they've branched out into waste products including chai tea spices and argan shells, stopping them going to landfill.
We ask Anna about the story behind UpCircle, what up-cycling in beauty really means and why it's important in the sustainability conversation. She also shares her experience as a female founder, what it's like working with her brother and what UpCircle's experience on Dragon's Den was like!
