The modelling world is a tough environment that only the strong survive. When you are a black lesbian who is masculine presenting, the modelling world suddenly becomes a whole lot harder.

Vjay is a police officer in Chicago who has crafted a career as an androgynous model and is co owner of Famme Entertainment.

Vjay shares with us the difficulties she faces in the world of modelling and how she overcomes the obstacles.

Vjay recently organised a photo shoot in remembrance of dominant lesbian women who have lost their lives to unneccesary violence and hate.
