S3 EP.13 // A broken home does not define you. - With Janie Isidoro, Latina Author and Owner of My Corazon - Libros y Cultura
Description
Hey Girl, welcome to this week's episode of The Fearless Mujer. I had the honor of sharing a virtual cup of Cafecito with an amazing Mujer, Janie Isidoro.
In this episode Janie shares her experience as a Mujer who grew up in a broken home and her journey to becoming an empowered woman.
She shares that her lack of parenting caused her to have her guard up and also to feel that she could not accomplish things. Janie shares how she balanced marriage and motherhood all while rebuilding herself and stepping into her power as a Mujer.
In Janie’s words, “Paving a new way means creating your story. You're designing your own way.”
I admire Janie, she’s real and truly inspiring. Janie is a living example that your past and where you come from does not have to define you.
Janie is also on a mission to empower her community through her Chicano Culture shop and Bookstore in Hanford, California.
This episode is going to empower you to no longer allow your past to define you.
Make sure to share this episode with your Amigas because something powerful happens when we lift each other up!
