Although tough to hear, this is a story of triumph over trauma, a raw and gritty tale that plays out like a bleak and hard to watch movie. The ending however, is one of light, from the darkness. It took Bambi thirty-two years to except her name that she was given, but now she says her name with pride. Ever since her 7th grade teacher told her she had a gift to write, she has never stopped. And now she has her first published book and many more to come
