Rochelle was born and raised in Miami, Florida, but she ended up launching her career on the other coast. After college, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked for the LA Weekly, in their advertising and promotions department covering film studios and record labels.
It was an ad in the Miami Herald that would bring her back home to Miami. For the next ten years, she managed the advertising, marketing, and promotions for every record label in the country at The Box Music Network.
