We're kicking off with US author Christine Murphy and her debut novel, Notes On Surviving The Fire, described by The New Yorker as having:
'A thriller's bones, a satire's glare, and a comeuppance story's anarchic spirit'
We absolutely love Christine, her book and this conversation, but do need to offer a warning that the episode contains graphic descriptions of rape.
