Theory of evolution, Genesis, and the Adam and Eve Genes are just some the topics Michelle took on with her guests today. Her first guest Dr. Joshua Swamidass who wrote the book, The Genealogical Adam and Eve: The Surprising Science of Universal Ancestry, discusses the book of Genesis and the theory of evolution, and how these do not need to be in opposition because they both could be true. Furthermore, scientist and Christians need to make room for different ideas and perspectives to come up with knowledge-based solutions. Her next guest Dr. Fuzz Rana wrote the book, Who Was Adam? A Creation Model Approach to the Origin of Humanity, and he talks about how God welcomes critical thinking and in faith we should question things because you can use science to prove the bibles unwavering truth.
