SOT-A's are the direct descendants of the Army Security Agency's Special Operations Detachments (USASASODs) Clayton started his Army Career in the 82 Airborne division, he was attached to 7th Special Forces Group. He spent 15 years in the military before being medically retired. His helicopter was shot down and he sustained and TBI. Master Sargent Clayton talks about being shot by a sniper.
