In high school, Stacey's interest in finance and the stock market grew exponentially. She excelled in stock market analysis and even won awards for her exceptional portfolio management skills. Her talent and dedication earned her a full ride merit scholarship to Strathmore University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics.

During her time at university, Stacey's entrepreneurial spirit shone through as she ventured into several businesses with her partners. She also explored the field of data science, completing a certificate program and working part-time in the Data Science team at Strathmore University. Her remarkable skills landed her a full-time role as a project manager, overseeing projects worth millions of Kenyan shillings.

Passionate about moderating and corporate engagement, Stacey hosted numerous webinars and high-level panels, attracting thousands of attendees. She has also made her mark on the international stage, moderating panels at prestigious summits and expos, representing over 55 countries. Stacey's journey has taken her to incredible destinations, expanding her horizons and enriching her experiences.

In this episode, Stacey takes us through her tech story, sharing how her interest in finance and the stock market developed over time. From her humble beginnings in primary school robotics to her high school involvement in the Val Raha Investment Competition, Stacey's passion for finance and entrepreneurship became evident early on.

Her journey continued at Strathmore University, where she pursued her studies in financial economics. Stacey reflects on how her subject selection process in high school led her to discover her true calling. She followed her passion for business and finance, despite societal expectations and family aspirations.

Throughout her university years, Stacey remained dedicated to her entrepreneurial pursuits. She delved into forex trading, investing in her knowledge and skills through online courses. While her initial experiences were met with ups and downs, she persisted and embraced the learning process.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, Stacey adapted to the changing landscape and started teaching forex classes online. Despite the challenges and exhaustion, she saw this as an opportunity to share her knowledge and empower others during a time when many sought additional skills to increase their earnings.

Stacey's tech story is a testament to her resilience, determination, and constant pursuit of knowledge. Her journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts, demonstrating that success is not linear but rather a series of continuous learning and growth.
