A dog training podcast for dog owners that doesn’t beat around the bush and gives you helpful, realistic tips and guidance on training your dog and solving issues you may be having.

In this episode we discuss a behaviour a lot of people do with their dogs, that we think they don't even realise how damaging it is to your dogs behaviour.
Petting them, baby talking them or going 'It's okay, it's okay' when they are reacting (barking, lunging, overexcited) to a person/dog.

In this podcast we discuss how counter productive this is and actually teaches your dog to behave like this EVERY time this happens.

- When do you support them and when are you making matters worse?
- What should you do instead?

Our top tips:
- Keep moving, don't sit down and 'hugstrain' your dog when they start reacting.
- Teach the sit on the dog exercise (see:    • This skill is a  MUST HAVE for your dog.  )
- Stop feeling bad/guilty for your dog. They're fine!
