SUICIDE SILENCE's MARK HEYLMUN Talks 'Remember... You Must Die', MITCH LUCKER And That Self-Titled Album
Description
SUICIDE SILENCE lead guitarist Mark Heylmun goes in-depth with the California deathcore band's latest album "Remember... You Must Die" on THE LOADED RADIO PODCAST
"Remember… You Must Die", which will be released on March 10 via Century Media, was produced and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio. The record will be SUICIDE SILENCE's fourth full-length effort with vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida (ex-ALL SHALL PERISH), who joined SUICIDE SILENCE following the passing of frontman Mitch Lucker.
SUICIDE SILENCE said about the album in a statement: "It's safe to assume that [our new album] will CRUSH your expectations. We'll have more info and music very soon."
For the artwork, the band enlisted renowned necrosurrealist artist David Van Gough to visualize the concept.
During the podcast, Mark discusses the creation of "Remember... You Must Die" as well as subjects like late SUICIDE SILENCE vocalist Mitch Lucker, the continued process of creating the band's dual guitar attack with fellow six-stringer Chris Garza, working with current vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida and that notorious self-titled fifth studio album.
And in the second portion of the podcast, host Scott Penfold discusses ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE/current SIX FEET UNDER vocalist Chris Barnes' choices for his "Top 3 Death Metal Albums Of All Time".
