Red Bull Racing have been given what the FIA call a significant penalty following the United States Grand Prix as they breached the International Sporting Code. Meanwhile Carlos Sainz has been given a five-place grid penalty for this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix. The penalty was given for Sainz’s attempted overtake on Kimi Antonelli during Sunday’s US Grand Prix, where the two cars collided and the Spaniard had to retire from the race after.
