Description

Many philosophers draw a hard line between the worlds of facts and values, but not Sam Harris. In this thought-provoking conversation with Chris, he makes the case that reason can indeed answer moral questions, and then explores the many controversies that emerge from that claim. Moral superiority? Cultural superiority? How about moral progress? Chris and Sam dig in to discuss the right ways to think about defining right from wrong, and reason’s role in it all. Rodney Jones Hey Rodney, I think you might have gotten some wires crossed, my comment was not in response to you, I actually didn't see your comment or your response to my comment until just now. I actually wasn't even commenting on the same episode. That being said, if my use of generally accepted English above a 10th grade level is all it takes to convince you of my intent, well then, I suppose not much reasonable discourse is likely to transpire... oh look, there I go again. Have a good day sir.
