Sanctifying Your Heart When Coming to God’s Word
Description
Each week, 12 fresh loaves of the showbread must be set on the golden table as described in Exodus 25:23-30. Spiritually, for you to eat the holy showbread inspected by God, your heart also must be holy. For this reason, when you come to God’s word, Peter says to lay aside “all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking” (1 Pet. 2:1). It will supply you to serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear. This is God’s wisdom to prepare you for His soon return!
