Days two through seven. Sunday through Friday. Rain showers later Monday and Monday night may produce heavy downpours of rain. There will also be a chance for thunder with gusty winds. A cold front will pass across Lake Ontario Monday night. Westerly winds behind the front will increase to 15 to 30 mph late Monday and early Tuesday, which along with cold air advecting across the Lake, will produce an increase in wave heights. Wind direction of west to northwesterly is still a little uncertain, though lakeshore flooding due to very high lake levels and increased wave heights is possible. Spotter information statement.
