In this episode Joy Caffrey, Christi Daniels, and Wendy Love Edge visit with Tanatra Carr.

Tanatra Carr was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas 11/30/1978. She’s lived in Fayetteville all of her life. She has a daughter named Promisee that is 8 years old, and a golden retriever named Brawnie. Promisee is her reason and incentive for everything that she is trying to accomplish in life. It’s for her. Tanatra is leading by example and giving her daughter the structure that she needs to become a responsible, independent young lady.

Tanatra is currently practicing as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a clinic and also works in Mental Health Inpatient in a hospital setting. She’s a student at the University of Arkansas in the LPN-BSN program for nursing. Tanatra loves to sing, write poetry, listen to music, read, and travel. She’s interested in architecture and loves entertaining family and friends.

Tanatra has had a radio show in the past called Words for the Soul that was centered around poetry with an open forum. Different topics were also discussed and it was great for public speaking and also allowed her to decompress. Her goals are to get a Master’s Degree to teach nursing education and to be a radio personality at night, because she loves the spontaneity of it and it calms her and gives her inner peace.
