Dickerson shares wisdom from 2 Chronicles 9:31 and the reigns of Solomon and Rehoboam. Solomon sought God with humility and built the temple, leading to peace and prosperity. But his son Rehoboam inherited the blessing without the devotion—and quickly led the nation into division and decline. Pastor John reminds us to seek God with the same desperation in times of blessing as we do in times of hardship, and to pray that our children will do the same. True success is staying dependent on God no matter the season.
