DR. EARL SHOWERMAN returns to present his latest research into the Shakespeare Authorship Controversy. We will focus on the less studied topic of Greek drama influencing the Bard's plays. Of the possible candidates for the author, who had access to a well stocked library of Classical texts? Do we know the books in the Burghley library? We will delve into how the Armada and Mary Queen of Scots are portrayed in the plays. Is there enough evidence to redate the plays to a generation earlier than the traditional dates? Earl and his colleagues continue the long tradition, to which Mark Twain was a contributor, of revealing the real author of the most beloved plays in the English language.
