Coach Shea started playing basketball in his hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from Cal State East Bay (where he also played). It was during this transition into college basketball where he discovered his own need for mindful, adaptable training solutions both on and off the court.

He continuously studies literature in sports psychology, physiology, philosophy, nutrition and more with the intent of integrating well-rounded knowledge into his player development strategies.
